8-24-09 Back to school

Mike and Madison went back to school today. They are going to school on base which is so nice for them. After school they go to karate which is great! They get to do karate everyday.

8-23-09 Afgan finished

FINISHED!!! Made this afgan for Che and has taken a couple of months, finally finished it.

This was too cute. Tink was taking a nap on Max.

8-17-09 Bellarmine University

Today I flew to Louisville Kentucky to get Angie settled at college. She has an Army nursing scholarship to Bellarmine University. It was a hectic couple of days, but I got her set up in her dorm and she seems to be settling in well.

Angie is going off to college in Kentucky, so she went out to lunch with Mimi, Pa and Grammy to say goodbye on Saturday.

8-13-09 Dine with Shamu

Yes, another year older and that songs seems truer every year! I had a fantastic birthday! We decided to Dine with Shamu at Sea World. What a neat experience it was! You are seated at tables right next to the tanks and the trainers give you a demonstration of what the whales can do, they walked around and answered questions. SO cool to be that close to them. I did a couple of videos of the trainers. Oh yea, lunch was good too :)

8-12-09 Visit with Peg & Rik

Peggy and Rik came for a visit and we ventured out to Gruene Texas to meet and visit with cousins Shirley and Bob and their grandkids.
