12-5-09 Austin part 2

Saturday night in Austin we met my friends from high school Jessica and Mark on 6th street at Opal Divines for dinner. We had a great time catching up with one another. After dinner Che took the kids back to the hotel and Jess & Mark & I hit 6th street. We had a blast and I can't wait until we can get together again!

12-5-09 weekend in Austin, TX

December 4th KISS played in Austin, and Che has always wanted to see them. SO I suggested that he get tickets for Mike and him to see them in concert. We ended up making a weekend out of it. We arrived Friday night, after work, stayed at the beautiful Omni hotel right in downtown...a block or so from 6th street. Che and Mike went to the show, Madison and I explored the hotel, watched G-Force and crashed out early (was a long day). Saturday we went out and found a boucy place for the kids to play at, then we had lunch back at the hotel.

Saturday after Thanksgiving we took Angie to Gruene to check out the area and eat at the Gristmill of course! As soon as we walked in we noticed their unusual Christmas tree which is hanging from the ceiling. Naturally I saw a photo op for potential Christmas photos!

11-24-09 Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! Angie flew home on Wednesday for the weekend from college. As the turkey cooked we decided it was a good time to put up the tree. Great day, good food and family, can't go wrong there!
