11-19-10 Pirate Pub Run ARRRGGG!!!

A pirate pub run, just what we need to get us going!!! Dr. Urteaga planned the run, we all met up at his office and off we went! This is the first pub run I have ever done, what a blast I had!

11-17-10 Saying goodbye

Today Che left for his year deployment to Afghanistan. We've known for a long time that he would be going, but no matter how much advance notice you have or time you spend preparing, it doesn't make it any easier. The kids and I took the day off and took him to the airport, had a tearful goodbye and will wait to hear from him once he is in country. It will be a long year without him around and we look forward to his return next November.

11-14-10 Mini Christmas part 2

November 13 my parents came into San Antonio to help out while Che is deployed. We did Mini Christmas part 2 this weekend. We decided to change up the menu and Che smoked some turkey legs & ribs. It was amazing! Great time as always!

Madison's singing group at school put on a performance for soldiers and were honored with some Tuskegee Airmen attending.
