7-30-09 kids & dogs

This week has been very uneventful. Che is out of town and Madison has had strep throat so we've been pretty much confined to the house except for a couple of quick trips to walmart and to school to register. I think I'm going stir crazy! Anyway, the kids have taken over the living room. The couch has become Madison's bed. Today she is definitely feeling better as her and Michael got the little toys out and made a city on the coffee table. Mike has been great keeping her company, they are having some fun together, which is nice to see. It's been such a downer seeing her so sick. The sound effects (via Mike) and laughter are wonderful to hear!

The critters..it's a mix of littlest pet shop, bakugon, transformers and star wars.

Tonight they raided the linen closet and made a tent!

And finally...this was so cute. The other night Max, who is 7 and enjoys sleeping and eating table scraps, kept bringing me toys. He was running and playing like a puppy, it was fun, we played for a while and I couldn't resist doing a video of it.

7-20-09 Sea World San Antonio

We used our salute to the military pass and went to San Antonio with Nelson, Vanessa and kids. We've been to Orlando Sea World numerous times, this one was a bit different. Yes it had the usual Shamu show and the Clydesdales. The sea lion show was different, Orlando one is funnier. The coolest thing was that we were able to feed the dolphins, that was awesome. And this seaworld has a whole water park in it, it was great to go cool off there. We all had a blast and we will be going back ALOT!

We got our picture taken with this horse, but I didn't go back to buy it. Maybe next time.

7-17 & 7-19-2009 Visit with the Lee family

Che's cousin Nelson and his family came over for a visit. I don't think they have seen each other since they were really little. Che cooked on the grill and the kids had a blast in the pool. We had so much fun they came back over on Sunday for ribs and more pool. It was a great weekend spent with them, many more to come I am sure.
