Happy Easter!! We had a wonderful relaxing day, enjoyed good food and time with family.
The kids are at that age where they know who the easter bunny is and all the other mythical gift givers out there. But I still make up baskets for them, even Angie (18) got one. After the baskets Mike, Madison and I dyed the eggs. They had so much fun with this. They even named them and proceeded to play with the eggs like they were action figures. Before I knew it they had light sabers and play horses for their eggs. It was so funny.
After some good egg adventures with "Sarge" and "Eggy" and the others, we peeled them and made Che's favorite, deviled eggs. YUM!
My parents came up from Bradenton and had a fantastic lunch with us, (ham, mashed taters, carrots and cake) and then we all layed around in a food coma. Max being the spoiled rotten dog that he is got the ham bone. Tink got some too, don't worry we didn't leave her out! Great day!
