That evening we went over to Old Town for dinner and met up with Dick Forney. We have known each other since birth I believe, but haven't seen each other since middle school. So that was nice to catch up.
Sunday we went to Epcot. Che hasn't been there in about 10 years, so it's changed a bit since then. This month is a flower festival so it was very neat to see the character designed bushes, and they had a butterfly garden, very cool. Test track is the greatest ride, we all loved it. The Nemo ride and aquarium is also very cool. And Epcot just isn't complete without lunch in Germany, love those giant Becks!
Monday, Che and Mike headed home while Madison and I had girls day at Magic Kingdom. That place is NUTS! We got there right when it opened and were able to ride thunder mountain and splash mountain each twice. Don't let her scared face in the photo fool you, she's a ham and absolutely loved the roller coasters. We went on haunted mansion, jungle cruise and pirates. By the time we did all that it was lunch time (we did more than I thought we'd be able to do). We got in line for Peter Pan, took an hour! After that, we were pretty done, had lunch, shopped, saw the parade and drove home. It was nice to just be with her for the day, but the park was bananas by noon. I have no desire to go there again any time soon. That's it so far! Easter is around the corner, more to come then.
That was the bulk of our spring break, the rest of the week has been spent painting, cleaning, fixing the house, relaxing. We'll spend tomorrow eve with neighbors (seafood fest, yum) and Easter with my parents.
