6-6-09 Road trip begins

We left our beloved Riverview this morning for our drive to San Antonio, Texas. We stopped by our house to get the dogs (thanks to Scott & Jo for dog sitting for us). And of course another round of good byes, hugs and tears! Along the road I took some random photos with my camera phone to 'document' the adventure. It's was a long boring drive! :)

Saturday night we stayed in Panama City, a bit off the path to Texas, but we wanted to see our friends from ND Polito, Rose & Mercedes who are living there now. We had a great time with them. Polito grilled deer meat (don't tell the kids) and we had fresh fish...most importantly it was so great to spend time with them and catch up.
